For those who love running and beer…or just beer

2023 BREWERS’ CUP

MISSION: To increase participation in the Pikes Peak Road Runners (PPRR) organization while promoting local breweries and businesses through camaraderie, sportsmanship and competition.

ABOUT US

Welcome to the 2023 Brewers’ Cup – a beer/running competition in partnership with the Pikes Peak Road Runners (PPRR). Brewery running teams are on the rise and have been present for many years now. During this time, we have surmised that there is high correlation between good runners and good beer drinkers. In fact, it’s fair to say that many of the fastest, funniest and most dedicated runners have been regular, enthusiastic patrons of our local breweries and rightly frequent the winner’s podiums of our local races.

Extending this fun competition and encouraging loyal patronage of our local craft beer establishments, breweries in our local area establish teams of up to 15 runners and need only team shirts and a penchant for fun to join.

This group is for runners and walkers of all abilities so whether you are a hardcore runner or couch potato looking for some motivation, accountability, camaraderie, and fun — there is likely a spot waiting for you! Visit your local brewery to ask about teams, or click the contact link at the top of the page.

How Do I Join?

There are many ways to join a team but the best way is to become a member of our Facebook page (2019 Brewers’ Cup Competition) and show your interest by posting there! Also, you may submit this form declaring your interest in a specific brewery team and you will be placed in touch with the appropriate team coach. Thanks for supporting our little drinking and running endeavor and we hope to see you on a team soon!

SPONSORS

COLORADO RUNNING COMPANY

Proud Sponsors of the 2018 Brewers’ Cup

Owner Jeff Tarbert along side store manager John O’Neill first opened the doors of The Colorado Running Company in June of 2000 and haven’t looked back. Together they have built the store on a strong foundation of great customer service, sponsorship, support from the local running community and on the best selection of running and walking shoes available.

Homer Simpson

All right, brain. You don’t like me and I don’t like you, but let’s just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer.
